Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center Earns Top Honors from U.S. News & World Report
Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center is proud to announce that we have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Nursing Homes for 2026, earning an overall rating of 5/5.
Among all 396 nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities in Iowa, only 63 received a “High Performing” rating in Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or both. We are honored to be one of those top-rated communities.
Our center received top marks in two key categories:
- Best Short-Term Rehabilitation
- Best Long-Term Care
“We are honored to receive this recognition and deeply proud of our dedicated team,” said Angela Meyer, Executive Director. “Our mission has always been to provide exceptional, person-centered care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of every resident. Being named one of Iowa’s best reinforces that commitment.”
U.S. News & World Report evaluates nursing homes across the nation using comprehensive data that includes staffing levels, safety records, medical outcomes, quality measures, and resident experience. High Performing ratings signal strong clinical outcomes and a consistently high standard of care.
“With this recognition, families can feel even more confident choosing Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center,” Meyer added. “We are grateful for the trust they place in us and remain committed to providing high-quality care in a warm, supportive environment.”
With a history of service dating back to 1931, Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center continues to offer skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and long-term care rooted in compassion, respect, and community.
