Admission is open to all persons of all faiths.
All resident rooms are private in the Skilled Nursing and Long-term care communities. Private and semi-private rooms are offered in our Memory Care community to encourage frequent visits from family and friends.
Around-the-clock visiting hours encourage frequent visits from family and friends.
Our location is easily accessible from Interstate 235 and we are proud of our attractive campus, including the residential setting and surround courtyards and terrace.
Residents of all faiths are encouraged to invite their clergy to visit at any time.
Care conferences encourage regular communication between residents, family members and the members of our interdisciplinary care team.

What is Memory Care?
Memory Care is a term used to describe the personalized care provided within a structured environment to persons suffering from memory loss. Memory losses can be caused by any number of reasons, including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy Body disease, Pick’s disease, stroke and more. Although individuals with different dementias or memory losses exhibit different behaviors and characteristics, typically their needs can be met within our Memory Care setting. Learn More >
What recreational activities does Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center offer?
We offer a daily schedule of social activities, including music therapy, BINGO and other games, daily news/view sessions, and a variety of other activities focused on engagement and socialization. We also hold special events on a regular basis. Check out calendar >
How do families get involved at Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center?
Families are encouraged to participate in all aspects of their loved one’s life. Visitors are welcome around the clock, whether joining us for therapy, meals, daily activities or more. In addition, our Resident Council and Care Conferences facilitate interaction between residents, families, and our interdisciplinary care team. Our spacious atrium and other lounge areas are available for use by residents and their families to celebrate special events and milestones.
